Veterans & reentry housing · Serving Middle Georgia
A bed, some structure, and somebody in your corner.
Reborn Ready Corp gives veterans and justice-involved men with nonviolent backgrounds a structured place to live and the support to get back on their feet. Serving Middle Georgia.
Why we're here
Getting out is one day. Staying out is every day after.
Here's what nobody says out loud. A lot of people walk out of a Georgia prison with a bag of paperwork, a release date, and maybe a phone number for a cousin. No lease. No ID half the time. No ride to the probation office. Then everybody acts surprised when they end up back inside.
Georgia has about 2,344 transitional center beds for somewhere between 14,000 and 16,000 people released every year. That's room for fewer than 15 out of every 100. Everybody else is on their own the day they walk out.
That's the gap. That's where we work. Not with a brochure. With a room, a set of house rules, a paycheck, and people who actually answer the phone.

Who we serve
Veterans and men coming home
Same door, same house rules, same shot. Plenty of the men we serve are both: they served, and then got caught up in the system.
Veterans
Veterans who need stable housing and structure, including veterans dealing with reentry, homelessness, or being out of work.
Nonviolent reentry
Men with nonviolent backgrounds coming home, whether you're still on parole or your parole is already done.
Homeless or out of work
Men dealing with homelessness and unemployment who are ready for structure and willing to put in the effort.
How it works
Three steps. No fluff.
The whole program fits on an index card. Doing it is the hard part, and that's why we stay with you the whole way.
Move into a structured house
A shared home in Middle Georgia with daily accountability and clear house expectations. Long enough to get your feet under you, short enough that it doesn't turn into another holding pattern.
Get work-ready
Employment readiness, life-skills coaching, and reentry guidance. Resumes, interviews, IDs, referrals, whatever's standing between you and a paycheck. We track your goals so you can see yourself move.
Leave with a plan that holds
Savings habits, a budget you've actually lived on, references, your documents back in hand, and a place lined up. Then you go. And we're still a phone call away.
Not a shelter. Not a halfway house with bars on the windows. A real home.

The setup
Three pieces that work together
We built this so the money, the house, and the work all point the same direction. Each piece has its own job.
Reborn Ready Corp
The 501(c)(3). Runs the program: placement, accountability, coaching, referrals, and oversight of every resident. This is who you're donating to. Charity ID (EIN) 41-5078149.
Reborn Ready Housing LLC
A separate company that secures, leases, and manages the houses our residents live in. Keeping it separate means the nonprofit can focus on people while the LLC handles the property side.
GaChi Handyman Services LLC
A working handyman business in Middle Georgia and a partner for hands-on work experience. When there's a fit, residents can pick up real job-site skills and a reference.
Year one goals
What we're aiming for
These are targets, not results. We haven't earned the right to brag yet. When we have real numbers, we'll put them right here, good or bad.

Who's behind this
Hey, I'm Chrissy.
Founder & Director, Reborn Ready Corp
I've spent years around young people who got caught up early. Seven years running a youth-at-risk group. Six years running a program for underage first-time offenders. Plus years doing admin and program work inside a police department.
I kept seeing the same thing. Somebody does the time, comes home ready to do right, and there's nowhere to land. I've been without stable housing myself. I know what that does to your head. So I stopped waiting for somebody else to fix it.
Our beds are full. We need more of them.
Every gift helps us open more space for veterans and men on the waitlist. If you fund, refer, hire, or lease, we want to talk.
