About Us
We're not a big agency. That's kind of the point.
Reborn Ready Corporation is a small Georgia nonprofit started in 2026 to house and support veterans and men in reentry. Here's who we are and why we bother.
About me
Crystal "Chrissy" Hunt
Founder & Director, Reborn Ready Corporation
I live in Macon, I run businesses here, and I have a degree in Criminal Justice that I've actually put to use.
For seven years I formed and ran a youth-at-risk group. For six years I ran a program for underage first-time offenders, the kids who got one bad mark and were standing right at the fork in the road. I also put in years on the administrative and program side at a police department. So I've seen this thing from the front desk, from the back office, and from the kitchen table.
And honestly? I've been without a stable place to live myself. Not in theory. For real. I know what it does to you when you don't know where you're sleeping next week. You can't think about a job. You can't think about anything. That's why housing comes first here.
Too many folks come home ready to do right and there's just nothing there. No lease, no ride, no ID, nobody to vouch for them. They're not failing the system. The system's failing them on day one. I got tired of watching that happen, so I started Reborn Ready.
I'm not going to tell you this is easy or that we've got it all figured out. We don't. But I pick up my phone, I show up, and I don't give up on people. That's the deal.
What Reborn Ready does
More than a roof
Reborn Ready Corporation is a mission-driven nonprofit focused on supporting veterans and men in reentry by providing structured transitional housing, accountability, employment readiness, life skills, and support services.
We operate alongside Reborn Ready Housing LLC, a separate entity dedicated to securing, leasing, and managing residential properties for transitional and supportive housing.
We serve Middle Georgia. We aim to help veterans and men with nonviolent backgrounds rebuild their lives by establishing stability through housing and structured support.
Our motto is "Where Completion Opens the Door to Rebirth." You finish the program, you walk out with something real.

What we believe
How we run this place
Rules aren't punishment
Curfews, check-ins, chores. Some folks hear "rules" and think it's prison again. It's not. Structure is what lets you breathe. Everybody knows what's expected, so nobody's guessing.
Work is respect
Nobody here sits around waiting on a handout. You get work-ready, you go to work, you see the money stack. There's a pride in that you can't fake.
Local beats big
We know Middle Georgia, the offices, the employers, the back roads. A national outfit can't do that from a call center. We can drive over.
Straight numbers
We'll tell funders and the public what's working and what isn't. If a goal falls short, you'll hear it from us first, along with what we're changing.
Our team
Who does the work
We're early and we're lean. Here's who's on it right now, no padding.
Chrissy Hunt
Founder & Director. Program design, grants, partnerships, intake, and pretty much every phone call. Also handles the business side of GaChi Handyman Services.
GaChi Handyman Services LLC
A Middle Georgia handyman company co-owned by Chrissy. When there's a fit, residents can get hands-on job-site experience with the crews.
Board members & volunteers
We're building out our board. If you've got nonprofit, housing, legal, finance, or reentry experience in Middle Georgia and you want in, call me.
